In the smartphone age, how do you keep young learners engaged with learning about books and media analysis?
I wrote a series of supplemental eLearning lessons to an English curriculum written for Spanish students using Articulate Storyline 360. Designed to demonstrate concepts as well as appeal to learners in the smartphone era, these lessons stretched my development abilities, since I tried to come up with new forms of interactivity that didn’t just act as entertainment, but perfectly suited the content. For this lesson on the differences between mediums, I decided to use Lord of the Rings to explain how the choice of medium affects how the story is told.
