So who are you?
I’m Carolina. I live in Baltimore and I enjoy travel, writing, books, and art. I’ve been in E-Learning for about eight years.

What qualifications do you have?
I’ve got a Bachelor’s in English and Philosophy, an MFA in Creative Writing, and a Certificate in Instructional Design from UW-Stout.
What got you into instructional design?
The only job posting I’ve ever found, to date, that specifically asked for Creative Writing majors! I began assisting instructional designers with scriptwriting, and then, when I realized how creative and well-suited to me the field was, I switched to ID. It’s an excellent fit.
What kind of industries have you worked in?
Like many IDs, a lot! Energy, healthcare, nonprofits, sales, education – the list goes on and on.
What’s your specialty?
I like the challenge of taking any sort of content and making it into realistic training. My favorite techniques for doing so involve storytelling, scenarios, case studies, and activities. If you give me dense content, I’ll make it streamlined, digestible, and applicable to the job that needs to be done.
How can I get in touch?
